Skid features heavy-duty stainless steel construction with glass bead finish & adjustable ball feet. Koss is a UL listed 508A Panel Shop: #E330004, our Panel Boxes constructed to NEMA4 specifications. Allen Bradley controls standard with 10 included wash programs. Koss Industrial panels are UL Listed! We provide you with one main control panel (configurable & scalable) and a separate high voltage motor panel. Having a separate high voltage panel helps keep the PLC cool & promotes safety by reducing unnecessary exposure to the higher voltage.
We offer touch screen operation (push button available). Touch screen operation enables the inclusion of safety features in the programming. It makes operation easy. Touch screen operation is ideal for use in a production line as it is a ‘user friendly’ interface. Operators are able to easily navigate the production line and its individual machines. With an image of the machine accompanying its specific controls, precision is easier than ever.
We do programming! Controls can be programmed to offer multiple recipes steps, ensuring consistency by reducing human input. Utilize batch control; it organizes activities/functions specifically, ensuring consistency.

Table Top Cookers
Too-cute and under two-feet ~ stainless steel Table Top Cookers!
Koss Industrial, Inc. designs and fabricates for all aspects of cheese-making (and many other sanitary stainless industries); not just full-scale production or even lab-sized machinery, Koss offers adorable table top cookers for smaller samples.
The model shown here is the 5S-10, Koss Industrial’s 10# single screw Table Top Cooker. The sample port’s design makes taking samples a breeze with the directed flow and the feet allow you to adjust the machine’s height to suit you. A Table Top Cooker makes an excellent addition to any product development process!

Ribbon Blenders
Why are they called Ribbon Blenders?

Koss Industrial Ribbon Blenders are designed & fabricated to customer specifications, our blenders are built to USDA Sanitary Standards. Fabricated from heavy-duty stainless steel, blenders are available with capacities ranging from 5-6,000 lb’s. They possess features such as sanitary pneumatic doors, polished product contact surfaces, & ribbon-style augers.

Grinders
These Stainless Steel Grinders, fabricated by Koss Industrial to USDA & WDA Sanitary Standards, are capable of grinding a variety of soft & hard cheeses.
They feature removable augers, optional face plates & grinder head plates (with several hole diameter options) as well as quick disassembly & release latches on head plates. These easy-to-clean machines (with custom interior & exterior finishes) come in various sizes; 5, 8, 11 and 14G grinders, and feature sized motors & horsepower to suit your process. Grinders are available single or twin screw (one or two augers)!

Dumpers
Whether you need ‘a bit’ moved ‘a tad’ or you require something on a much grander scale, Koss Industrial can design and fabricate a dumper to complement your process.
There are multiple options available when it comes to formatting a dumper to suit an individual application, dump height being the most prominent of those custom variables. When customizing a dumper to fit your process there are hydraulic or chain driven designs, as well as options such as removable buckets. Those removable buckets are even available with casters for mobility.

Extruders
Extruders transfer cheese from cooker to molder, finishing the addition of grain structure, in pasta filata cheese-making.
The machines are available CIP-able (see Koss Industrial, Inc.’s CIP Systems) and are designed and fabricated to USDA & WDA Sanitary Standards. The interior body is Teflon coated, the exterior body bead blasted or polished. The machine is available with sanitary adjustable ball feet or casters for mobility, an electric or hydraulic drive option, as well as an optional cart for the extruder head.
