Custom Stainless Steel Fabrication
It’s been over 30 years since we first set up shop; we’ve had years of experience manufacturing some of the world’s finest custom fabricated equipment for a variety of industries. As we’ve expanded our facilities over the years we’ve invested in state of the art equipment that enables us to deliver products of the highest quality.

Dumpers
Whether you need ‘a bit’ moved ‘a tad’ or you require something on a much grander scale, Koss Industrial can design and fabricate a dumper to complement your process.
There are multiple options available when it comes to formatting a dumper to suit an individual application, dump height being the most prominent of those custom variables. When customizing a dumper to fit your process there are hydraulic or chain driven designs, as well as options such as removable buckets. Those removable buckets are even available with casters for mobility.

Extruders
Extruders transfer cheese from cooker to molder, finishing the addition of grain structure, in pasta filata cheese-making.
The machines are available CIP-able (see Koss Industrial, Inc.’s CIP Systems) and are designed and fabricated to USDA & WDA Sanitary Standards. The interior body is Teflon coated, the exterior body bead blasted or polished. The machine is available with sanitary adjustable ball feet or casters for mobility, an electric or hydraulic drive option, as well as an optional cart for the extruder head.
Cheese Molders, Cooker Mixer Stretchers (CMS) and 620 Mixers are some examples of other Pasta Filata Cheese-Making machines by Koss Industrial, Inc.
Hot Water Sets
Regulating & maintaining temperature is a breeze with Hot Water Sets!
- Precise Temperature Control
- Even Heat Distribution (eliminates hot spots; offers quality control/ease of cleaning)
- Lower Pressure (doesn’t require special jacketing)
- A Safer Environment (as opposed to having high pressure steam runs throughout the plant)
Koss Industrial’s hot water sets are designed & fabricated to USDA & WDA Sanitary Standards and are constructed from durable stainless. Heat Exchanger has 3A symbol. We design & fabricate hot water sets to meet the customer’s unique needs.
Available Options include: various material finishes, controls for hot water set, skid/wall mounting, different styles of expansion tanks, insulation, heat exchangers (ASME or U-Tube; 8, 10, 12 in. U-Tube Heat Exchangers operating above 15 psig mawp will be ASME stamped)

Koss Cookers
Koss Industrial, Inc. has over 30 years of experience fabricating batch cookers, custom designed and fabricated to meet customer needs. Constructed from heavy-duty stainless steel, there are several models, from the 20 lb. lab size to the 2,000 lb. twin screw. Built to USDA & WDA Sanitary Standards they are CIP-able & constructed to handle difficult products.
Koss cookers are available with a variety of optional features such as a Fully Polished Exterior and PLC Batch Control Automation. We’re dedicated to providing custom machinery designed & engineered to best complement our customers’ unique applications.

Powder Funnel
Koss Industrial, Inc. engineers, fabricates, & manufactures sanitary stainless steel powder funnels.
Powder funnels are not only used to quickly mix powders, but can also be used for various tasks, such as rapidly reconstituting a liquid concentrate. Another feature of Koss’ powder funnels is the ability to CIP clean the unit making it even more cost effective.
These powder funnels are designed with a built-in powder inducer which minimizes the moisture crawling into the funnel, which in turn helps prevent clogging of the lower funnel area.
Mixers, Cookers, Stretchers
Koss Industrial, Inc. also offers mixers (Also referred to as cookers or stretchers). The mixers can be used for mozzarella or provolone cheese. Koss Industrial, Inc.’s mixers can be made from either 304 or 316L Stainless Steel and can be jacketed or non-jacketed.
The specifications for Koss’ Model 6T-5000 are as follows:
- 150:1 Reduction
- 5,000-pound-per-hour Capacity
- Six (6) Inch Diameter Screws
