After starting the business from their garage, the Koss brothers settled at their current location in the heart of dairy country, in Green Bay, WI. Baldor’s Stainless Steel Motors with Premimum Efficency
Baldor offers a line of AC Motors that includes a Premium Efficiency line that are made of stainless steel. This Baldor motor is also referred to as a Super-E Motor. The Super-E Motor was designed with the goal to conserve energy over extended periods of time. Baldor has these premium efficency motors in three-phase and single-phase designs.
Rotary Drum Strainer
A Rotary Drum Strainer, also referred to as an RDS, is consists of a wedge wire screen, rotating against a plastic scraper, causing it to be a self-cleaning strainer, which in turn offers larger flow rates. When hooked up correctly, the RDS can remove some fat from the liquid.
Y-Strainers
Y strainer valves get their name from their shape, they have the appearance of a “Y”. Y strainers are often used in liquid or gas pressurized lines. These strainers can also be used in suction or vacuum applications.
Jamflow’s y strainers are made of class 600 stainless steel . The body, bonnet, screen, & plug are all made of SUS 316 stainless steel and has a teflon gasket.
Alfa Laval 3A Manways
A manway is installed at the top of each tank, circular LKDC manways are used on tanks or vessels where interior access is required above the liquid level. Koss Industrial, Inc., an authorized distributor of Alfa Laval, is proud to announce Alfa Laval has revamped their manways and they now meet all the requirements of 3A Sanitary Standards. The manways are available in the LKD & LKDC models in various sizes. This 3A manway is definitely the tank cover to choose.
700 Series
The 700 Series valve comes in a variety of different configurations including throttling, tank outlet, and reverse acting.
The convienence of the 700 series valve is remarkable, for example two actuators (both the long and short) fit virtually all 700 Series valves–including a wide selection of shut-off and divert valves.

SaniMidget
Toftejorg takes another giant step forward in the “Tank Cleaning World” with the new SaniMidget Spray Ball. It has all the same great features as the original, but now is 3A approved. This spray head can quickly clean internal tank surfaces ina 270° indexed pattern.
There are many benefits of this new 3A SaniMidget. For example, the SaniMidget is self-cleaning and self-draining with a minimal amount of parts that are all assembled without any welds!
