The check valve is designed to use in sanitary stainless steel pipe systems. The check valve is responsible for preventing the reverse product flow. This valve is versatile because it can be installed either vertically or horizaontally. Pictured here is Alfa Laval’s “Y”-Body check valve.

Plug Valves

Another valve Lumaco carries, is the plug valve. Lumaco’s ITC plug valve has an ITC interchangeable Teflon encapsulated stainless steel plug that can be used in 2- or 3- way applications when unrestricted flow is a necessity. These plug valves not only meets the 3A standards, but Lumaco’s plug valves also comply with the USDA as well.
