High Voltage
Like many people from my generation, I was first introduced to the concepts of alternating current and direct current from the moniker of the iconic rock band AC/DC. It wasn’t until I reached my physics class in high school, however, that I learned the importance of these two electrical charges.
As you can probably ascertain, direct current is a charge that never changes it direction. Due to its consistency and low wattage, direct current is commonly found in low-voltage devices, especially those that are powered by batteries, which have constant positive and negative sides. Alternating current, on the other hand, reverses direction periodically and creates much more energy; it is utilized in everything from household and business electricity to an AC motor
DL305
The DL305 series is a small modular PLC that has been marketed by various name brand PLC manufacturers for over 23 years. This Koyo design revolutionized the small PLC market, and you can keep your DL305 system operating with these compatible components.
F2-UNICON
The F2-UNICON is a Universal Converter that converts RS-232 signal levels to RS-422 signal levels or RS-422 signal levels into RS-232 signals. This converter is specially designed to be used with the DL05 and D2-240 CPUs.
Some of the great features the F2-UNICON offers is that it easily mounts to a DIN rail, it does not require an external power source (it receives power from the +5v pin on the D2-240 CPU port (bottom port) and the DL05 (port 2), and it also both transmits and receives LEDs to help simplify trouble shooting of the unit.
DL105
The DL105 series is a fixed-I/O micro PLC with 10 inputs and eight outputs. Eight configurations are available in combinations of AC, DC and relay I/O, as well as AC and DC powered units.
DL06
The DL06 series combines its fixed I/O of 20 inputs and 16 outputs with four optionn card slots for expansion (discrete, analog, communications modules, etc.), all in the same package. With the DL06, you can use the same PLC panel layout for all applications from 36 to 100 I/O.
