700 Series, Shut Off ValveThe 700 Series valve comes in a variety of different configurations including throttling, tank outlet, and reverse acting.

The convienence of the 700 series valve is remarkable, for example two actuators (both the long and short) fit virtually all 700 Series valves–including a wide selection of shut-off and divert valves.

Koss Industrial, Inc. has a wide variety of used valves including the 700 Series, along with the 300 Series and  SRC valves, just to name a few.

SaniMidgetSpray HeadToftejorg takes another giant step forward in the “Tank Cleaning World”  with the new SaniMidget Spray Ball.  It has all the same great features as the original, but now is 3A approved.  This spray head can quickly clean internal tank surfaces ina 270° indexed pattern.

There are many benefits of this new 3A SaniMidget.  For example, the SaniMidget is self-cleaning and self-draining with a minimal amount of parts that are all assembled without any welds!

Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers

Alfa Laval Brazed Heat ExchangersA brazed plate heat exchanger is basically your “smaller” versions of the plate heat exchanger.  One of the main separating factors of plate heat exchangers is that the “larger” ones are separate by gaskets, whereas the “smaller” ones consist of brazed seals at the edges of the plates and the contact points of the plate are also brazed.

There are many advantages to the brazed plate heat exchangers, for example, the heat transfer efficiency makes the unit compact which is easily installed in locations where space is limited.  Also, seeing as the design of the this type of plate heat exchangers does not consist of gaskets, it is suitable for applications where the temperature and/or pressure rating is high.

Alfa Laval Baseline Plate Heat ExchangerA plate heat exchanger is a specific type of heat exchanger that uses metal plates in order to transfer heat between two fluids.  Plate heat exchangers are more beneficial than the regular U-tube or straight tube heat exchangers because the fluids are exposed to a larger surface area due to the fluids capability to spread out over the plates.  Now, the transfer of heat can take place while simultaneously increasing the speed of the temperature change.

A Fast & Effective Way to Clean Tanks

TZ-74I am sure everyone has heard of the old proverb, “Time is money”.  This wise saying states that time is more valuable than money.  Money that is spent or lost can always be earned back again, however, time that is lost is lost for good.  That is why when selecting tank cleaning equipment, the “Toftejorg TZ-74 Brew Kettle Version Rotary Jet Head”  is the way to go.  This specific model has a 360° indexed impact cleaning for a stainless steel tank.  The Brew Kettle Version is equipped with special sealings to ensure its reliable work under the toughest conditions.

The standard design allows you to choose the nozzle diameter which in turn optimizes the jet impact length and flow rate at the desired pressure.  These nozzles then perform a geared rotation around both axes.  The first cycle is when the nozzle out a coarse pattern on the tank surface, and then in the remaining cycles gradually make the pattern more dense.  It takes a mere 8 cycles to complete the full pattern, a definite time and money saver.

All in all, when it comes down to it, this jet head ensures a better end-product and reduces the operating costs, which goes back to the well-known proverb, “Time is money”. So, why don’t you save your time and money and check out Koss Industrial, Inc.’s selection of tank cleaning equipment at www.StainlessSteelThings.com.

PD210 Display UnitIf you are interested in taking you mag-flow meter to the next level &  “stepping it up a notch”, you can add a PD210 Display Unit to you Mag-Flow Meter.  This unit displays data from the transmitter.  For example, the PD210 can display flow or volume, batch, totalizer, diagnostic tests, and more!  This unit can also configure the flow meter meaning you can control your selection of functions like the size of the metering head or the function of outputs, all from this single display unit.

The PD210 Display Unit can be easily mounted directly on the flow meter or panel by the means of only a 2-wire connections.  Another bonus is that there is no need for a local power supply, which makes this unit even more convenient.

PD 340 Mag Flow Meter PicA PD340 Magnetic Flow Meter (Commonly referred to as a Mag-Flow Meter, Mag-Meter, Magnetic Flow Meter, etc.) is a precision meter responsible for the volumetric measurement of liquids that are electrically conducting.  The mag-meter can be used in applications that require a hygienic design.  The rugged construction makes this transmitter suitable for installations where solids particles are in the liquids.  The PD340 transmitter is equipped with a microprocessor controlling and supervising all of its functions.
