Check Valves
The check valve is designed to use in sanitary stainless steel pipe systems. The check valve is responsible for preventing the reverse product flow. This valve is versatile because it can be installed either vertically or horizaontally. Pictured here is Alfa Laval’s “Y”-Body check valve.
Ball Valve
A ball valve is a valve with a spherical disc, which is the part of the valve that controls the flow through it. The sphere has a port through the middle, so that when the port is in line with both ends of the valve, flow will occur through it. When the valve is closed the port is blocked, not allowing the flow through. A ball valve is considered to be in the same “family” as the butterfly valve and plug valve, which is referred to as the “quarter turn valves” family.
Koss Industrial offers a wide variety of these valves including the brands TRIAC and Jamflow.
Titanium Plate Heat Exchangers
Titanium Plate Heat Exchangers are ideal for the heating or cool of corrosive products, such as salt brine or acids. Alfa Laval’s FrontLine and BaseLine (as pictured) Plate Heat Exchangers, as well as industrial units (with painted frames) are an example of these titanium plate heat exchangers.
As an Authorized Distributor of Alfa Laval products, Koss Industrial can correctly size a plate heat exchanger to you requirements.
Reconditioned Pumps
Koss Industrial, Inc. has a wide variety of used pumps; including both centrifugal pumps and positive displacement pumps.
Pictured here is a G&H 822 Pump, which is a positive displacement pump. Currently, Koss Industrial has two of these reconditioned pumps in-stock.
761 Valve
The 761 Valve is the single seat valve for Alfa Laval’s line of 700 Series valves. This is an air-operated seat valve that features the positive action of either the short- or long- stroke actuator.
The 761 valve is ideal for high volume, sanitary liquid processing. The 761 possesses a heavy-duty construction and precision-molded bonnet gaskets to ensure the positive alignment under severe operating conditions.
Another great feature of the 761 valve is the sanitary and flexible design, which allows this valve to be used in a wide range of applications. For example, it can be used as a divert valve with three to five ports, a shut off, or even a cross.
Toftejorg SaniMidget Goes 3A
Toftejorg® has a new rotary spray head that is designed for self-cleaning, self-draining, and inspectability, not to mention this Toftejorg® SaniMidget SB/3-A Rotary Spray Head is 3A Certified!
Besides being 3A approved, this rotary spray head consists of a one-clip assembly which makes for easy installation, disassembly and inspection. The spray ball still maintains its excellence in cleanability and drainability.
Lumaco Concentric Check Valve
When choosing a check valve, the Lumaco Concentric Check Valve is they way to go. The check valve is responsible for preventing the back-flow of product in the working line.
The Lumaco check valve has many benefits starting with the material it’s made of. This check valve is constructed completely of 316 Stainless Steel which gives the valve the highest corrosion resistance. The Lumaco check valve also has an EPDM (Viton is also available) O-Ring, which in turn makes the valve leaf proof! These are only a few of the many benefical features the Lumaco Check Valve has.
Lumaco’s Butterfly Valves — Betterfly Valves
Lumaco also carries their own version of the butterfly valve — the Betterfly valve. This is a sanitary heavy-duty valve that can be made of 304 or 316 Stainless Steel. Lumaco’s sanitary butterfly valves, the Betterfly Valves, have many beneficial features including the valve being sanitary, a compact design, leak-free performance, reliable action, and adaptable design.
SolidC Pump
If you are looking for a standard duty pump, the SolidC pump is the one to choose. this centrifugal pump is designed for pumping CIP solutions, utilities, water (heating, cooling, etc.), washing machines, and simple transport duty within working range. The SolidC pump is suitable to be used in the food, dairy, beverage, personal care, pharmaceutical, light chemical, and water industries.
700 Series
The 700 Series valve comes in a variety of different configurations including throttling, tank outlet, and reverse acting.
The convienence of the 700 series valve is remarkable, for example two actuators (both the long and short) fit virtually all 700 Series valves–including a wide selection of shut-off and divert valves.
Koss Industrial, Inc. has a wide variety of used valves including the 700 Series, along with the 300 Series and SRC valves, just to name a few.
